Academic building, Queen Margaret University Musselburgh
Formerly Queen Margaret College, university status was granted in 2007, the same year that the Musselburgh campus opened. The buildings are designed with low energy use and sustainability in mind and the site is only 5 minutes' walk from Musselburgh station.

Wibble!
The oblique props at Queen Margaret University. I am always reminded about Field Marshall Haig's advice to Captain Blackadder in the last episode of Blackadder Goes Forth.
Presumably the sticky out bit is the nether regions of a lecture theatre.

Square and main buildings, Queen Margaret University
From humble beginnings in the 19th Century as the Edinburgh School of Cookery, and after amalgamation over the years with a number of other specialist colleges, Queen Margaret University obtained its charter in 2007. At about the same time, it moved into purpose-built accommodation on the outskirts of Musselburgh.
