St Ninian's Church, Corstorphine, Edinburgh
St Ninian's Church is a Church of Scotland parish church at 144 St. Johns Rd, on the main Corstorphine Road in Edinburgh, opposite the entrance to Manse Road, which leads to the old village. Don't confuse it with the other St Ninian's Church in Edinburgh which is an Episcopalian church in Comely Bank.

Development site, Corstorphine
At the corner of St John's Road [A8] and Manse Road. A familiar sight has disappeared. For decades it was the location of Woolworths [the double storey brick gable], a succession of supermarkets from the 1960s onwards on the near corner [FineFare, Safeway and others] and a few small businesses in between them; in 2018 them there was a Liberal MSP's office, Pizza Hut, SemiChem, and Corstorphine Hub with Lucy's Cafe and CYC Centre. Woolworths went, then the supermarket and successor shops.
There is a current planning application, granted in 2018 for mixed use development incorporating residential development [4-5-storey flats], commercial floorspace, hot food takeaway, car parking and associated works.
