Mark Lane Underground station (site), London
Opened in 1884 jointly by the Metropolitan District Railway and District Railway on what is now the District and Circle lines, this station was renamed Tower Hill in 1946, and closed in 1967. It was replaced by the current Tower Hill station situated around 200m to the east.

Mark Lane Disused Tube Station
This is the old entrance to Mark Lane tube station now replaced by Tower Hill a bit further down the line. If you stand here you can clearly here the tube trains through it
