The 'Dolphin', Mare Street, Hackney
Situated at the busy junction of Mare Street and Well Street, the Dolphin is well placed, but it's a pity they painted it in such a gloomy colour.

The school at the right of the church was probably connected with it in some way, at the time when the church was Congregationalist. Pitcairn House (block of flats) is seen just beyond.

Greek church of St. John the Theologian, Hackney
Hackney has claims to be the most multi-racial borough in London, and there is a substantial population of people of Greek ethnic origin. This church, presumably Greek Orthodox, caters for them. It was formerly a Congregationalist church.

St. Thomas' Burial Ground, Well Street, Hackney
Although this burial ground has not been used as such for over a century, it makes a pleasant green space. St. Andrew's Hall used to occupy the area nearest to the camera.
