Hackney Wick station, platform 1
The platform on the right serves Clapham Junction and Richmond. The station itself opened in May 1980 when the line from (Dalston) Western Junction to Stratford was re-opened to passengers after being closed for around forty years.

Hackney Wick railway station, Greater London
Opened in 1980 by British Rail on the North London line from Stratford to Richmond.
View west towards Homerton and Richmond, two years after the station had been rebuilt. See Image for a 2012 view in the opposite direction. An underpass has replaced the former footbridge.
