Winsor Terrace, Beckton
A lot of the housing around here is newly built on old post industrial brownfield land, but this terrace has survived the changes and is now part of the new community.

Beckton DLR station
Beckton DLR station is the eastern terminus of the Beckton branch of the Docklands Light Railway and opened on 28th March 1994. However, westbound trains heading away from Beckton actually go east before eventually turning through 180 degrees by the time they reach Cyprus. This was a day of sunshine and heavy showers.

Angelica Drive, Beckton
Part of a brand new development around Beckton DLR station. They've got the flowering cherries sorted, so it's nice to see they're doing the suburb thing properly.

Docklands Light Railway east of Beckton station
The view from the end of the platform at Beckton station, showing the elongated crossover joining the two tracks, while a magnificent pylon surveys the scene. DLR trains leave Beckton station heading east, then turn gradually through 180 degrees through Gallions Reach station to head west towards Custom House. The conductor rails for the DLR's bottom contact third rail electrification system are conspicuous.

A confusing station - at the east end of the line, you end up facing west.
