Beckton District Park (4): car park
The car park was empty on a Saturday morning, perhaps largely because the 'pavilion' (changing rooms, cafe etc.) was closed - and looked like it had been permanently shut for some time.

Path in Beckton District Park
This path leads through a wilder section of the park towards Tollgate Road.
It is also used by the long distance path, Capital Ring towards Hackney.

Beckton District Park
Beckton District Park was landscaped during the late 1970s and early 1980s in an irregular shape between new housing developments. The park opened in 1982. This view is taken from Stansfeld Road and looks towards one of the pylons which cross the park here.
