New Road at Beckton Asda
On the Beckton Asda site, just opposite Beckton DLR station, there is what appears to be a new thoroughfare being built! I'm unsure where this road will lead drivers, but by the looks of things, it won't be long before it opens! View taken on the left hand side of the square, looking north from the A117 road just outside Beckton DLR station.

Buses in Beckton bus station
Stagecoach London 36297, an Alexander Dennis Enviro 200, lays over in Beckton bus station between trips on route 366. A similar vehicle (though apparently of a slightly earlier generation) belonging to Go-Ahead London rests behind it.

Beckton bus station
It has to be said that the new Beckton bus station is less than overwhelming. It consists of a dedicated U-shaped roadway, on each arm of which is a bus stop with shelter. (The building in the centre being solely for Staff use). Perhaps it was considered that passengers could make do with the facilities provided by ASDA in their store, two minutes walk away, where there are toilets and a cafe.
