Walthamstow Stadium Dog Track (as was)
The frontage to the old dog racing stadium remains but no dogs race here now, officially anyway. The clock still tells the correct time.

Walthamstow Greyhound Racing Stadium - Art Deco facade
This stadium opened in 1933 and closed on 16 August 2008 soon after this photo was taken and the site is now covered with apartments. Gone to the dogs
The famous Art Deco parapet entrance of Walthamstow Greyhound Stadium was built in 1932. The grand official opening was on 15th April 1933 in which the aviator Amy Johnson took part.
