History of gardens in Britain
Gardens at the rear of the Geffrye Museum illustrate the history of English gardening styles. The garden in the foreground is an early knot garden, and newer garden styles can be seen further in the distance.

North London Railway war memorial
Inscribed with the names of sixty-eight men of the North London Railway who died in the First World War, this memorial was originally located in the now demolished Broad Street Station. Restored after years in storage and relocated to London Overground's Hoxton Station in 2011.
