Hackney Road near Diss Street
The old and the new -- a church converted into trendy flats and a derelict site on the corner. Development is likely to happen at an ever accelerating rate in this area, as the Olympics approach and developers see opportunities.

View of a London Overground train crossing Cremer Street
This coach of the train is one of 57 new extra coaches which have been added to the London Overground stock, now making each unit 5 cars. This has however caused a problem at Whitechapel station, as I found out on the train home, because the platform is too short for the new 5 car trains and so you can only alight the trains from the first 4 carriages. Looking east.
