Weavers Fields and former Hague Street School, E2
Hague Street School (now Hague School) moved out of this building in the 1960s, when Weavers Fields park was expanded and numerous streets that had provided children to the school, Hague Street among them, were curtailed or obliterated. Hague School now occupies a similar Victorian board school building on Wilmot Street, the first street to the east to survive the clearances; this building is now the Weavers Fields community nursery.

A grade II listed building, around 1900. Still involved in nursery education, but it is hard to believe all of it is.

One Careful Owner!
A Roller for six grand no thanks! There are many railway arches in the area filled with small businesses, many to do with the motor trade. This sales lot was a bit more upmarket! However there is still a bit of green in Bethnal Green not much more than 50 yards from here I saw grey squirrels!
