Doughty Court, Wapping
A comparison of old maps suggests that these flats were built in the 1960s on the site of a Nurses Home. There had been a hospital nearby – the one-time infirmary of the St George in the East Workhouse. The tall tower beyond is Oswell House, so named on a map of 1958-76.
