Busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon in October. This is but a section of Jackman House on the Wapping Estate, outlined on a map of 1938, shown in place in 1948.

For services 100 and D3. Wapping Lane winds southward to some shops. The trees colouring up look like the Claret Ash: Fraxinus oxycarpa 'Raywood'. Watts Street runs behind. Villagey.

Wapping Green by Wapping Lane, Wapping
Choppins Court ends by a worn-out play area and slopes down to Wapping Lane. 100 years ago it was Old Gravel Lane. From old maps it appears that Wapping Green has been created from an existing open space, enlarged by the removal of Watts Street Buildings.
