Cannon Street Road in London's East End. The railway bridge carries two railways - the "national rail" route into Fenchurch Street on the tracks further from the camera, and the Docklands Light Railway on the nearer tracks. St. George in the East church
This Nicholas Hawksmoor church, designed in the early 18th century, was badly damaged in the Blitz. The interior has been completely renovated. It stands just off The Highway in Wapping.

The railway line crossing Cannon Street Road, Shadwell
Fenchurch Street is one of the rare London railway terminals not connected to the underground, another being the far smaller Holborn Viaduct. This line heads to the coast beyond Southend.
