Walthamstow Cemetery Chapel
The chapel is in a much better state of repair than the surrounding graves! A large London plane tree adds shade.

Detail of the small war memorial in Walthamstow Cemetery (Queens Road)
This small war memorial with just seven names on it is situated just north of the chapel. Three of the seven died after the War ended. Unfortunately the names closest to the ground are harder to read. The names and details, including date of death, on the memorial are as follows:
Private C.T. Gould - Hampshire Regiment 21.1.1919
Private G.W. Harvey - Royal Defence Corps 20.12.1917
Air Man 1st CL. A. Jarman - Royal Air Force 12.6.1920
Private A.W. Misselbrook - Royal Marine Light Infantry 23.4.1918
Private W. Wiseman - Essex Regiment 15.6.1917
Corporal W.R. Dexter - Essex Regiment 9.8.1916
Ordinary Seaman G.W. Scott - Royal Naval Vol Reserve 15.2.1919

Ringwood Road, Walthamstow
A residential street just like many others, but in this one you can see the spire of the cemetery chapel ahead.

Walthamstow Cemetery
The cemetery is suffering from some degree of dereliction. There are tilted and toppled grave stones, sunken graves and plenty of rather dried up weeds.
