"Electric House" Church Hill Walthamstow
Electric House was opened in January 1937 and housed showrooms, workshops, repair shops and stores. It passed into the hands of the L.E.B (London Electricity Board) in 1948. It is now up for sale.

Unusual block of flats on Church Hill, Walthamstow
This building marks the end of the Central Parade along Hoe Street - a line of shops with flats over, and was completed in 1958. It also included a lecture hall. This is part of the Hoe Street redevelopment area of the 1950s/60s with buildings designed by the borough architect F G Southgate.
