Bishopsgate Telephone Exchange (1)
Situated in Jerome Street E1 6NJ, this TE serves Spitalfields and Whitechapel. It used to have BIShopsgate numbers until the late 1960s, but now has 0207-247, 375 and 377 xxxx numbers plus some Inner London numbers. It is perhaps unfortunate that the TE is located in a rather unprepossessing area with the graffiti on the wall in front not helping much to its appearance.

Bishopsgate Telephone Exchange (2)
This photo shows the TE in Corbet Place E1 6NH with the blue doors where the equipment is delivered and the jib on the roof above them. The metal railing on top of the wall with graffiti below it does not exactly appear to enhance the building or area.
