Roman Catholic Church built to the designs of architect Francis William Tasker (d. 1904) between 1875 and 1876; restoration after war damage according to the designs of architect T.G. Birchall-Scott. Canning Town: St Margaret's Catholic Church
According to a 2015 London Borough of Newham local development plan policies leaflet, the church was built in 1876 in the 12th Century French Transitional Gothic style. Also according to the leaflet it is a Grade II Listed Building. Whilst it may well merit such a listing, it does not appear in the Historic England website, when using the map search facility.
