The Lodge, Woolwich Manor Way, E16
Apparently worthy of preservation, but not of tender loving care. Manor Way in North Woolwich ends at a slipway, now walled off for flood prevention. This house is the last of the original buildings before the slip.

Steam hammer in Royal Victoria Gardens
Plated 'R. Harvey & Co 1888 Glasgow'. The casting seems to be heavily plated over, as if it developed a crack and was repaired. Mostly hidden by this plating further information is on the casting, only 'No 3...' is properly visible. It was used by the blacksmiths shop of R H Green & Silley Weir Ltd., ship repairers, Royal Albert Dock.
