St Francis Catholic Primary School, Maryland Park
The school dates from 1816 when a school for Catholic children was set up in Stratford High Street. The present site in Maryland Park has been used since the 1970s. It is overlooked by Henniker Point.

Henniker Point
Built between 1967 and 1969, and architecturally very much of its time, Henniker Point is 64 metres tall, has 23 floors and contains 91 flats. It stands at the junction of Leytonstone Road and Henniker Road.

Leytonstone Road, Maryland
Taken outside Maryland Station where Leytonstone Road meets Forest Lane. The Borough of Newham is proclaiming itself proud to be a 'host city' for the Rugby World Cup; to the left of that is the curious 'twisted clock' which was moved here from Stratford station a few years ago.
