Stratford: Chevy Chase public house
The pub, which is in Maryland Point, is currently managed by Inn Business. It took some time to track down the original name, but it transpires that it was originally the Hope.
The 1881 Census shows the following occupants, at 7 Maryland Point:

Maryland Station
Maryland is the first stop east of Stratford on the Great Eastern main line. It was opened in 1873 and called Maryland Point until 1940. The TFL Rail branding is a temporary measure; local services through here are due to become part of Crossrail.
