View of Mercedes passing New Providence Wharf
Mercedes is a two-masted square-rigged sailing ship. Originally built as a fishing vessel in 1958, she fished for years in the North Atlantic. She was transformed into a corporate hospitality vessel in 2005, making her one of the youngest ships in the international tall ships fleet. This has given her impressive rigging totalling 900 square metres, the highest safety standards and excellent seaworthiness alongside sleek looks.
