Westferry station, Docklands Light Railway
The Docklands Light Railway has been the big success story of the East End since its opening in 1987. Its stylish stations are accessible to everyone, including unassisted wheelchair users, and it provides safe and frequent transport throughout the area, saving millions of car journeys every year, and with a member of staff aboard every train. It is also completely free of graffiti.
