Pipe Bridge over Regent's Canal
Regent's Canal north of Commercial road - pipe bridge and abutment of former ' Limehouse Curve' railway bridge built in 1880 to link the Blackwall railway to Bow. Behind is Salmon's Lane Bridge.

Salmon Lane lock
A double lock recently refurbished.
Salmon Lane was formerly called Sermon Lane, possibly because it led to Stepney church. Alfred Hitchcock lived several childhood years there above the family fishmonger's shop.

Narrowboat at Salmon Lane lock
Tieing up the boat prior to operating the lock.
The footbridge by Buro Happold, replacing an earlier one, "spans just over 20m and has been designed for cyclist and pedestrian use with an asphalt surfacing. The use of twin steel arches accentuates the curved profile and results in a striking elevation. The structure is equipped with under-deck lighting and is supported on the refurbished brick abutments."
