Cubitt Town: Christ Church
One of two churches on the Isle of Dogs this one was built using his own funds by William Cubitt between 1852 and 1854. Cubitt was responsible for much of the development of the south-east corner of the Isle of Dogs. The road is the A1206 Manchester Road.

Christ Church and St John, Poplar
This Anglican church, built 1852-54 by landowner William Cubitt to the designs of Frederick Johnstone, is now grade 2* listed. From the crucifix outside and the reference to the Mass on the notice board I deduce it is "Anglo-Catholic" in worship style.

You can have too many trees. Here is an example of how uncontrolled growth of boskage can obscure the view of what is a fine building, photography of which is almost impossible.
