It is a criminal offence to take photographs ... of the court
Sign near Snaresbrook Court, which made me feel it was not wise to photograph within the grounds; which was a shame as I was hoping to take a picture of the section of Eagle Pond Image] Image] in this square.

Fenced off Forest
This is marked as part of Epping Forest on the official map, but there is no easy access due to the security measures in force as it is so near to Snaresbrook Court. Just the other side of the fence is Eagle Pond.

Snaresbrook: Station Parade, E11
Station Parade is at the north western end of the High Street and the image was taken from the pedestrian footbridge over the road next to the Underground railway bridge.

The Eagle, Snaresbrook, London E11
A landmark for generations on the old A11 at Snaresbrook, The Eagle now styles itself as Toby Tavern. No-one is fooled and everybody still calls it by its right and proper name. The pub dates from the 18th century when it was a staging post for travellers between London and Newmarket.
