Leyton bus garage
The garage was opened in 1912 by the London General Omnibus Company and became a London Transport garage in 1933. It was hit by a V1 flying bomb in 1944 following which the front was rebuilt in the form seen here. The garage is now operated by the East London Bus & Coach Company which is largely owned by the Stagecoach Group. It is one of London's biggest bus garages with nearly 100 buses in service each weekday.
