The Smartest Scarecrow in Town
This was one of the many scarecrows in Belbroughton, during the 12th Scarecrow Festival. This one is claimed to be the smartest in town. The theme of scarecrow weekend was children's book titles.

Belbroughton 12th Scarecrow Festival, 2009
Hundreds of people were thronging the village of Belbroughton to inspect the many scarecrows on display. The pubs were doing a roaring trade. The Festival, also known as Belbroughton Scarecrow Weekend, had its theme for 2009 as children's book titles. Image Other attractions included a farmers market, bouncy castle, craft fayre, balloon race and much more.

The Queens, Queens Hill
This pleasant food orientated pub, is much older than it looks from the outside. It is believed to date from around 1560. It was originally called the Queens Head Inn and later it was known as the New Queens Hotel. Today it is called The Queens, though at the side there are notices saying The Queens Deli. Image

This is the sign on The Queens in Belbroughton. The Queen celebrated is probably one of the two Queen Carolines, who were respectively married to George II and George IV. Image
