West Mercia Police Information
West Mercia is the fourth largest geographic police area in England and Wales. The force area is divided into five territorial policing areas, which match the boundaries of our local authorities.
While West Mercia is predominantly rural, it also contains some densely populated urban areas and many market towns. To ensure we strike the right balance between addressing national and local policing priorities, the force focuses its activities on three priority areas:
- Serving
- Protecting the public
- Making the difference

Neighbourhood Officer Details
I'm Mark Chappell and I am temporarily responsible for Local Policing in Redditch.
I have nearly 22 years of experience and have enjoyed numerous roles including pro-active and Intelligence Policing work.
Leading the Redditch Neighbourhood teams I look forward to working with local partners to tackle issues for the local community, targeting crime and antisocial behaviour and those who cause the most harm.
It's important that your Local Neighbourhood teams listen to local concerns and use information from local people to understand and support the residents and visitors to Redditch to provide policing for the local community.
If you have an issue or matter you want to talk to us about please get in touch using the details below
Hello, I'm Sergeant Mandy Partridge, I have 27 years policing experience, and have been a Sergeant since 2005. I've worked in various roles as a Detective, and have worked closely with Partner Agencies in order to Protect Vulnerable People from Harm. In October 2016 I was delighted to take up the opportunity to work in Neighbourhood Policing and in July 2019 I took over responsible for the Safer Neighbourhood Policing Teams within Bromsgrove District.
I am the beat manager for Hagley and Rubery and I have over 12 years service in the police. Throughout my service I have worked on patrol, local policing and a local task team where I would carry out warrants and target prolific offenders.
Stuart started work with West Mercia police in 2015 and is part of the Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood team. Stuart has had a wide level of experience within the local community prior to joining the Safer Neighbourhood Team ranging from driving the local bus routes whilst working for WMSNT to working at local the funeral home.
