Stourbridge Junction station northern approaches
On the extreme left, the line to Stourbridge Town curves away and begins its steep descent to the town. Beyond the signalbox, a spare diesel set awaits its next duty and in the distance a train is curving off toward Birmingham via Cradley Heath.

Stourbridge Junction signalbox
Still showing its original designation as Stourbridge Junction Middle Signalbox, the signalbox has had new stairs fitted and locking room windows bricked up (probably during World War 2), but still is much as it was when built by the Great Western Railway. All controlled signals are now colour lights and points electro-mechanically actuated.

Chiltern set at Stourbridge Junction
These sidings north of the station are used to stable the locomotive-hauled sets used by Chiltern Railways for services to Kidderminster. This one is headed by loco 68011.
