Lake Street Methodist Church, Lower Gornal
Situated in Lake Street DY3 2AU, this church is one of five in the Gornal and Sedgley Methodist Circuit. Services are held here each Sunday at 10.45am and 6.00pm, whilst activities take place during the week. The wording on the blue oval notice at the front of the Church says:

JESUS WELCOMES ALL
Worship Him here together.
This is a statement of faith in the Methodist Church, but may also apply to other denominations. The extension to the Church can be seen to the right of the photo.

Former Driving Test Centre, Lower Gornal
Located at 19-21 Lake Street, DY3 2AU, this driving test centre carries out practical driving tests in Lower Gornal and the surrounding area. It is perhaps unfortunate that no parking spaces have been provided for candidates to park their cars before their tests take place. Theory tests now take place a short distance away at Trafalgar House, 47-49 King Street, Dudley, DY2 8PE.
Update: this driving test centre closed on Friday 10th May 2019 with the new DTC opening on Monday 20th May 2019 at Newton House on the Pensnett Trading Estate DY6 7YE, SO8989 refers.
