Severn Valley Railway at Trimpley Reservoir
The train engine is Bulleid Pacific No. 34027 Taw Valley. I had thought this might be a decent location for train photography but the hedge alongside is too high and the buildings behind are a little distracting. I walked to Victoria bridge from here but the view on this side is significantly obscured by trees.

The fisherman had caught a fish and was reeling it in. The train is heading for Kidderminster and just disappearing into the vegetation. The locomotive is No. 75069.

Severn Valley Railway - Pitchford Hall across Trimpley Reservoir
The train is heading south for Bewdley. This location was nowhere near as good as I had hoped because of intrusive vegetation and distracting background buildings. This was all I could catch of this train heading south. Pitchford Hall is a Great Western 4-6-0 tender engine built at Swindon in 1929. It is currently based on the Epping and Ongar Railway and was visiting for a gala.
