Old Mill on Puxton Lane, Kidderminster
Grade II Listed mill building of c1860s or 1870s and set against a cliff. It was built by Francis Jelleyman for tarpaulin manufacture but later turned to carpet manufacture. This adjoins the much larger later development of the Townshend Works that was finally owned by Bond Worth Holdings Ltd who became Carpets of Worth Ltd. Burnt out car, Puxton Lane, Kidderminster, Worcs
Presumably stolen, possibly parts removed and then set on fire, but not necessarily by the same person or persons. The car, at the end of Puxton Lane, where a public footpath commences, appears to have been a Ford and the red and white tape indicates the Police were aware. The only question remaining is how long this potentially dangerous eyesore will stay here.

Dreams plc., Crossley Retail Park, Carpet Trades Way, Kidderminster
Dreams plc were a UK manufacturer of beds with about 270 stores, and which sold bedding as well as beds. Unfortunately, on the 6th February 2013, the company went into administration. The majority of the stores were sold off to a company called Sun European Partners. The remaining 93 stores were left with the administrators. The Kidderminster store would appear to fall in the latter category as posters announce that it will be closing. They also say that all stock must go, with reductions of up to 70%.
