Neighbourhood Officer Details
T/Inspector Dave King joined West Mercia Constabulary in 2001 and was posted to Redditch where he worked on local policing and response policing as a Police Constable, before moving to the old Bromsgrove Police Station on the Divisional CID in 2003. In 2006, Dave then went into specialist policing roles at Headquarters where he worked in Special Branch and the Serious Organised Crime Unit. Upon promotion to the rank of Sergeant in 2009, Dave returned to the North Worcestershire division and worked at Redditch and Kidderminster as a shift sergeant on response and as a custody sergeant. In 2017, Dave took up his current role as district Sergeant for Bromsgrove before recently moving to the Wyre Forest area as SNT Inspector.
Neil joined West Mercia Police in 1990, working in a variety of roles and departments based at Kidderminster. In 2004, he was promoted to Sergeant where he worked in both Bromsgrove and Redditch. In 2006, Neil joined the Safer Neighbourhood Team for the Wyre Forest and currently supervises the teams working there.
Derya joined West Mercia Police in 2006 and started her career working as a Police Community Support Officer for Sutton Park. In July 2008, she joined as a Police Constable and worked on Response in Wyre Forest. Derya then moved to the Safer Neighbouhood Teams in 2016 and now covers Kidderminster East and Kidderminster North.
Kate joined West Mercia in February 2005, covering what was then known as Kidderminster West, and was one of the first PCSOs stationed at Kidderminster. As time progressed Kate looked after Kidderminster Rural, and set up Neighbourhood Watch, Rural Watch, Farm Watch and Horse Watch in these areas. More recently, she now looks after the communities of Kidderminster North, which comprises of Cookley, Wolverley, Franche and Habberley. If you see her on patrol please stop and have a chat. If you have any issues or concerns she will do her best to help achieve a positive outcome.
Nicky joined West Mercia Police in April 2007. Since then, Nicky has covered the areas of Habberley and Franche before it became Kidderminster North, incorporating Cookley and Wolverley. Nicky enjoys engaging with the community and can be seen out and about on foot or on her Police cycle. Please feel free to stop her and say hello.
