Brickworks at Hartlebury
The Austrian group Wienerberger has taken over the Baggeridge Brick site at Hartlebury. This is still very much a working production site using locally dug clay. Part of the clay pits has been turned over to landfill.

Hartlebury - road junction at the level crossing
A particularly tricky junction. Whitlenge Lane (left) joins Walton Road at a very acute angle immediately before the level crossing.

Hartlebury Signal Box
Just by the level crossing is Hartlebury Signal Box. This was built by the Worcester firm of McKenzie & Holland about 1875. They were well known for their signalling equipment and were later taken over by another company who eventually shut the Worcester works in 1921. The signal box is thought to be one of the oldest still operational on lines formerly operated by the Great Western Railway.
