High Street
Kidderminster's pedestrianised High Street is normally packed with shoppers but on a Sunday morning there is hardly anyone around. The shop on the immediate left is part of The Officers Club retail chain. The chain was another one to go into administration, but the Kidderminster store is one of those that will not be re-opening under new management. It therefore joins the town's growing list of empty shops.

TUI Holiday Store, 7 Rowland Hill Avenue, Kidderminster, Worcs
TUI is an Anglo-German international holiday and tourism company. The Kidderminster store is part of the Rowland Hill Shopping Centre, which is accessed from Worcester Street (seen here) and Vicar Street. Rowland Hill Avenue is the name of the ground floor mall.
The green lane is a cycle lane.

The Bear & Wolf, Unit 3, 11-17 Worcester Street, Kidderminster, Worcs
This recently opened modern public house will hopefully bring some new life to Worcester Street, which currently has many empty buildings. The pub offers six real ales. It opened on the 20th December 2019 and is operated by Brimstone Ale Houses Limited.

Entrance to Rowland Hill Shopping Centre, Worcester Street, Kidderminster, Worcs
This indoor shopping centre was built in 1978-1980 to a design by Barratt, Shaw & Wheeler. It is named after Sir Rowland Hill, who was born in Kidderminster in 1795. He came up with the basic concepts of the modern postal system including the use of postage stamps. The main entrance to the shopping centre is in Vicar Street.
