This indoor shopping centre was built in 1978-1980 to a design by Barratt, Shaw & Wheeler. It is named after Sir Rowland Hill, who was born in Kidderminster in 1795. He came up with the basic concepts of the modern postal system including the use of postage stamps. The main entrance to the shopping centre is in Vicar Street. Image
