Gundry Weir, Bridport
Gundry Weir on the River Brit in Bridport was built to provide a usable head of water for mills and factories in the town, including Gundry's factory (on the right, now Amsafe) and West Mill. A fish pass is planned for here to allow migration of fish upstream to spawn. Fish Passes have been installed at West Bay sluices, Palmers Brewery weir downstream and at Jessopp's weir on the River Asker.
