However they are facing increasing pressures from internet trading, supermarkets and the general effects of the economic downturn, despite what the politicians might tell you. Modernisation is therefore required to keep their competitive edge. This includes improving their restaurant and providing better customer facilities generally.

Access to underpass beneath the A35
A curious arrangement, repeated on the other side, where an expensive construction of steps provides a route which is exactly the same length as the route via the ramp. The incline of the ramp is quite gradual; why the need for steps?
