Groves has had a garden centre here for at least the past 25 years and has a large local following. They also have "Little Groves" at Beaminster. However they are facing increasing pressures from internet trading, supermarkets and the general effects of the economic downturn, despite what the politicians might tell you. Modernisation is therefore required to keep their competitive edge. This includes improving their restaurant and providing better customer facilities generally.
