A small memorial for a young life
This side-road, leading off Commercial Road, is inauspicious enough; it takes in the large car-park and Weymouth's main Post Office depot. However, on the wall is a small and somewhat inconspicuous memorial plaque. The dedication remembers Robyn Danielle Nixon, who (having suffered bullying and a bad relationship with her boyfriend) jumped from the top of the multi-storey car-park to her death in 2010. She was 15 years old.

A shade of blue
'Nautica' is a section 106 (Housing Act) development in Lower St Albans Street, designed to provide affordable community housing. It replaced an old carpet warehouse and was completed in 2010, complete with some coloured balconies.
