Poundbury Phase 4 - Strathmore apartments under construction
Strathmore comprises "eight elegant classically inspired apartments in a grand mansion block by Quinlan and Francis Terry".
One of the more pretentious bits of the Phase 4 Poundbury Development at Queen Mother Square. Looks more appropriate for the oligarchs of London than Dorchester and is definitely not West Dorset.

Poundbury Phase 4 Queen Mother Square development
Development progressing of the North East Quadrant (Phase 4) of Poundbury continues apace. Luxury accommodation, hotel and pub/restaurant all being developed around the square with unashamedly opulent classical style architecture using modern steel framed construction with the latest materials.
Thinking about it "pub" is probably not the right word to use, "gastropub" at the very least. Dorset it might be geographically but not stylistically; then is the rest of Poundbury?

Peverell Avenue East new housing
Part of the North East Quadrant development at Poundbury, some luxury apartments are being constructed on Queen Mother Square. They are being constructed with columns and an arch which can be seen just left of centre, restaurants and so on. All looks a bit high-end and pretentious to me. The largest steel framed building will house a pub, restaurant and 20 apartments. The pub is rumoured to be going to be named the "Duchess of Cornwall" after Camilla. The blue clad "assisted living" homes for McArthy and Stone are called Bowes Lyon Court.
