Dorchester Water Meadows
The river Frome splits into several streams as it runs across the water meadows to the north and east of the town. These are themselves interconnected by many smaller streams such as this which flows from near the White Hart to Grey's Bridge with the meadows on one side and the town on the other.

Lott and Walne Foundry, Dorchester
This foundry on the side of the southern branch of the River Frome on the north eastern edge of the town produced much of the street ironwork of the town. A lot of this has now disappeared with modernisation of sewage and water systems.
