Owston Church School
Now converted to a private residence. The diamond-shaped stone is inscribed "Boys' School"; presumably there was once a similar one for girls above the other door.

Owston Church School, Owston Ferry
Boys school it says over the right hand doorway, so maybe there was a girls school somewhere nearby, or even through the left hand arch. Now converted into a dwelling house.
The present residents aren't backing fracking.

Owston Ferry, Centenary Methodist Chapel
Set back off the main road, it is rather shy of its façade which is not easily viewed. Built in 1837 it still apparently retains much of its original interior. Listed Grade II.
