Welcome to Doncaster
The Welcome to Doncaster topiary sign on the A1M/A630 roundabout. It's not as well maintained as it used to be, like many of the living sculptures on Doncaster's roundabouts.

Welcome . . .
To Doncaster!
The sign, which presumably in the spring and summer of 2006 will become enclosed in flowers, vines and plants, announces to the happy driver, coming off at J.36 of the A1(M) that they have arrived in Doncaster, well, on the outskirts of Warmsworth anyway. This is the roundabout above the motorway, where the A630 crosses it on its way east, into town.

Warmsworth Bell Tower
Bell tower at the junction of Glebe Street and Low Road East in Warmsworth. Most likely of Medieval origin, the current structure is probably 16th century with a 20th century cupola.
