RAF Memorial, Kirmington
A salvaged Lancaster propeller blade at the 166 Squadron memorial in Kirmington. The blade was recovered and donated by the Royal Netherlands Air Force Salvage Team in memory of the crew of ND-913 A4-M2 of 115 Squadron, Witchford, who gave their lives on 21st July 1944.

Lancaster ND913 crash memorial at Kirmington
The propeller blade was recovered by the Royal Netherlands Air Force salvage team and donated in memory of the crew from 115 Squadron RAF Witchford who died at the scene on the 21st of July 1944. The dedication also extends to 166 Squadron (1943-1945). Fresh flowers are donated each week by a local lady because "she feels someone should".

Operation Manna memorial at Kirmington
Operation Manna was the name given to humanitarian food drops, carried out by British RAF units, as well as squadrons from the Australian, Canadian, New Zealand and Polish air forces, between 29 April and 7 May 1945 to relieve a famine in German-occupied Netherlands, undertaken by Allied bomber crews during the final days of World War II in Europe.
