Welholme Museum Store
On the corner of Hainton Avenue and Welholme Road a sign on the wall of this boarded up building states it is or has been the Welholme Museum Store. A foundation stone was laid on 15 October 1907 by Mary Wintringham.

Hainton Street Halt railway station (site), Grimsby, Lincolnshire
Opened in 1905 by the Great Northern Railway on the line from Louth to Grimsby Town, this tiny station closed in 1961. The track was lifted around 1981 and later what had once been the main line from Grimsby to London Kings Cross was converted into this road.
View north along the former track-bed towards Grimsby Town. Bizarrely, there has never been a Hainton Street nearby, just a Hainton Avenue parallel to the old railway. For more information, see http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/h/hainton_street/index.shtml.

The former Welholme Road Congregational Church, built in 1907 by Hewins and Goodhand of Grimsby. Also incorporating the 1894 Congregational mission Church and Sunday School. ( both are Grade II Listed Buildings)
