Priorities
1 Oct 2022 | Peoples Park and Barratts recreation ground Response (21 Oct 2022)From conducting Humber talking surveys on Park Drive this month it has been identified that there is an issue with anti-social behaviour within the park. The Park ward team are within Peoples Park when on shift and engage with members of public. They update social media when in the Park (Stay informed through our social media channels, find us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.) Due to the reports of anti-social behaviour, YPSS (young and safe team) which consists of youth workers attend Peoples Park and Barratts recreation ground to engage with the youths. From the patrols this month a male was searched under section 23 Misuse of Drugs powers and a quantity of cannabis was located. Due to him not being eligible for a cannabis warning, he was reported for the offence and will be later summonsed to attend Court in relation to this. There have been a couple of reports of wheelie bin fires. We are working with partner agencies in relation to this. Please continue to report via 101 or 999 in an emergency. |
1 Oct 2022 | Diana Princess of Wales Hospital Response (21 Oct 2022)Park Ward team have been dealing with numerous complaints from staff and patients in relation to groups causing anti-social behaviour in the hospital. From working with the hospital and watching CCTV, they were able to identify the youths and issue words of advice to the youths and parents. There have been no further reports of anti-social behaviour this month. From the good rapport Park Ward staff have with the hospital, a robbery occurred in the car park area of the hospital. CCTV was reviewed and suspects were identified and arrested. The motorbike was located and given back to the victim. This was a great result for Park Ward team. The Park ward team have completed community drop-in session which was a Bike Registry event. A great turn out! 1 Oct 2022 | The Elms Response (21 Oct 2022)The Elms is an abandoned building on the junction of Welholme Avenue/Abbey Road and has become a hotspot for anti-social behaviour. There have been numerous logs about anti-social behaviour and an Arson that was reported. Due to this, there have been two multi-agency meetings with partner agencies. This included NELC, police and fire. Park ward staff are within the area and have completed foot patrols with in the locality. Please remember to report any activity. |
