St. James' Church, Rawcliffe
The Parish Church of St. James at Rawcliffe, with the spire undergoing renovation works supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund (and quite a lot of scaffolding). The church was designed by local architects Hurst and Moffatt and built at some time between 1841 and 1851 on the site of two or maybe three previous churches. More on the history of Rawcliffe and its church can be found here: http://www.goole-on-the-web.org.uk/main.php?key=687
